The starting point of the Olympos cable car is located in the Kemer region, about 60 kilometers west of Antalya.
Our Olympos cable car journey starts from the Beydağları Plateau, where you fly high and move over the pine forests that characterize this region, where we see different types of plants until we reach the top of Mount Tahtali, which is the highest peak in the Western Taurus Mountains at an altitude of 2365 meters above sea level, to enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the mountains and the Mediterranean Sea.
The cable car journey from the starting station to the top of the mountain is 4359 meters, which is considered one of the longest in the world. The journey takes about 13 minutes in a comfortable carriage that can accommodate 80 people, which was specially designed and manufactured in Switzerland.
At the top of the mountains, the temperature drops by 10 to 15 degrees Celsius compared to the beach, so it is necessary to wear suitable clothe for snow. The visitor must take a rest at the Olympos cable car station at the top of the mountain, where cafés serve hot drinks that make you feel warm and delicious Turkish food, in addition to the presence of many shops dedicated to selling souvenirs.
