KNIDOS ANCIENT CITY
Knidos is an ancient Greek city whose ruins are located in the city of Marmaris, Muğla Province, southwestern Turkey. The city dates back to the ancient Greek period in the first millennium BC, which includes the remaining ruins of the city in addition to a group of temples, theaters and archaeological buildings.
The city is considered an open-air museum that tells the history of ancient times, due to its location overlooking two seas (the Mediterranean and the Aegean Sea), and its containing many monuments dating back to about 2600 years, a center for attracting tourists, thanks to the ancient historical monuments it contains.
The city of Knidos attracts the attention of local and foreign visitors, with its two historical ports, and provides a great opportunity for tourists thanks to its potential in terms of nature and cultural wealth.
