SALDA LAKE - PAMUKKALE TOUR
A trip to Lake Salda , known as the Turkish Maldives in Burdur , and the sulfur lakes of Pamukkale in Denizli is a natural and cultural trip.
Our journey begins from Antalya towards Lake Salda , which is considered one of the cleanest and deepest lakes (184 meters) in Turkey. It is estimated that Lake Salda was formed about 2 million years ago.
The lake water is less saline and has high alkaline properties due to the location of Lake Salda between the mountains and away from the main road to Burdur , Denizli and Antalya . Its natural beauty is preserved to this day. Lake Salda Nature Park contains a wonderful combination of white sand beach, surrounded by pine forests and clear blue sky to make Lake Salda very attractive and similar to the Maldives . Because of this, it is known as the Maldives of Turkey . You will have the opportunity to walk on the sandy beach and swim in Lake Salda .
Then we continue our journey to the second station, and on our way we will stop for lunch before continuing our way to Pamukkale .
Pamukkale is world famous for its calcium pools, hot springs, therapeutic waters rich in carbonate minerals, and limestone deposits fraught with sediments formed by flowing water over thousands of years, with a wonderful panoramic view there and a visit to the ancient city of Hierapolis .
